NVIATS operates under the federal government’s Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy. The objectives of NVIATS are to provide training and employment for Aboriginal people in the region; to affirm the principle of equal access to status, non-status, on-reserve, and off-reserve Aboriginal organizations and clients; and to establish parity of employment rates between the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal labour force.
ENAS provides holistic human resource programming for the benefit of Aboriginal people in Northeast BC. The vision of NENAS is for First Nations and Inuit people to realize their full potential through unity and cohesiveness.
The Interior Salish Employment and Training Society provides employment and training programs to Aboriginal communities in the region. The Society is especially focused on assisting youth and individuals who have experienced long-term unemployment.
FNES represents 10 First Nations and First Nations Employment Enterprise Centres on the Vancouver Sunshine Coast. The key to the success of FNES is that it works with local clients and local industry at the community level.
CSETS was created in 1997 through an agreement between 19 Coast Salish First Nations and three Aboriginal Friendship Centres. Communities and Friendship Centres receive funding from CSETS to provide employment services in their designated areas. These services include career counseling, job training, and certification programs.
CIPAHRD is based in Kamloops. Its goal is to increase the self-reliance of Aboriginal people within the Central Interior. To this end, CIPAHRD negotiates for and distributes financial resources related to Aboriginal human resource development.

CCATEC serves First Nations communities in the Cariboo Chicoltin. It offers labour market programs, liaises with governments, and provides funding to First Nations organizations and individuals for job training.
ACCESS serves urban Aboriginal clients throughout Metro Vancouver, helping them overcome barriers that may stand in the way of their success in the job market. ACCESS offers customized employment and training services. It also develops partnerships with organizations and companies seeking workers and matches their needs to the needs of clients, creating a win-win situation for both partners.
ATEC delivers culturally sensitive employment services to Aboriginal people in the Kamloops area. It helps clients identify and overcome barriers to employment, and find and maintain meaningful jobs that fit their abilities and interests.
Wilma’s Transition House offers emergency housing for women and their children who have experienced violence. Guests have access to kitchen and laundry facilities, clothing donations, legal assistance, and transportation for service-related appointments.
