The mandate of Lii Michif Otipemisiwak (LMO) is to support Métis children and families in a culturally appropriate manner. LMO’s services enhance mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, while also promoting the self-determination of the community. “Otipemisiwak” is a Cree word for the Métis people; it means “the people who govern themselves”.

Knucwentwecw Society provides provincially-mandated services to children and families in the band communities of Stswecemc/ Xgat’temc, Tsq’escen, Xats’ull, and T’exelc. These services promote connectivity to family, community, and culture. The Society believes that by working together, we can ensure that our children reach their full potential.

Indigenous Perspectives Society (IPS) offers training programs that help foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives, cultural differences, and the need for self-determination. The goal is to strengthen lives and build successful relationships in communities. IPS is accredited by CARF International for its Aboriginal Social Work training program.
