The Friendship House Association of Prince Rupert is an inclusive organization that provides programs and services to the community at large. The Association focuses on the needs of First Nations people in the areas of education, culture, health, and recreation.
Community

ANPs support community development throughout the province; their involvement ensures that “community” comes first. The Community Capacity Support Program, for example, provides funding to urban Aboriginal organizations to cover facility costs like rent and renovations. And the First Nations Finance Authority offers low-rate loans to Aboriginal governments for community infrastructure.
Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association (FRAFCA)
FRAFCA provides employment, education, health, and recreation services for Aboriginal people in the Fraser Valley. It also supports the resurgence of Aboriginal culture, language, and teachings, particularly those of local residents.
Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre

The Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre provides numerous quality services to the Aboriginal communities in the Nechako region. These services support people on their journey to become more self-sufficient and self-reliant. The Friendship Centre also dedicates time and resources to promoting awareness among Aboriginal people. Cultural pride and confidentiality are the pillars of our organization.
OoknaKane Friendship Centre

The Ooknakane Friendship Centre provides holistic, culturally-driven programs designed to support and educate people of all Nations. These include programs for families, children, youth, and individuals seeking employment. The Society is committed to treating every client with respect, integrity, and compassion.

Warriors Against Violence Society

The Warriors Against Violence Society believes there is a need to restore the traditional Aboriginal values of honour, respect, and equality. The Circle of Life includes elders, lifegivers, men, and youth. All have a right to live in non-violent families and communities.
United Native Nations Society (UNNS)
The mandate of the UNNS is to work toward the betterment of Aboriginal people living off reserve in BC. Qualification for membership in the UNNS is based solely on Aboriginal ancestry, not on definitions created by the outdated Indian Act. The major concern of the UNNS is to represent and protect the interest of Aboriginal people who currently have no voice in government decisions affecting them.
Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC)

The goal of the UBCIC is to support the interests of Aboriginal people, whether at the local, provincial, national, or international level. One of the main principles of the UBCIC is that, despite our differences, we will be stronger if we work together.
