Vancouver Métis Citizens Society

The Vancouver Métis Citizens Society endeavours to develop knowledge of Métis culture, promote economic development, and offer services relevant to the Métis history of its members.
North Island Métis Nation (NIMA)

NIMA serves the interests of Métis people residing in the north of Vancouver Island, from Campbell River to Port Hardy. NIMA holds various social events such as Louis Riel Day celebrations and also participates in local celebrations such as National Aboriginal Day.
Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC)

MNBC represents 36 Métis Chartered Communities in British Columbia and is mandated to develop and enhance opportunities for Métis communities by implementing culturally relevant social and economic programs and services. The vision of MNBC is to build a proud, self-governing, sustainable Nation in recognition of inherent Rights for Métis citizens.
Kelowna Métis Association

Kelowna Metis Association serves the Central Okanagan. The Association promotes awareness and sharing of Métis culture, as well as economic and educational opportunities.
Island Métis Family and Community Services Society (IMFCSS)

IMFCSS serves the Métis community living on Vancouver Island. Its programming focuses on child safety and family wellness. The IMFCSS space includes a playground, a computer lab, a teaching garden, and a community kitchen.
Métis Community Services Society of BC

Métis Community Services Society of BC provides family-centered services to all those who need them, with special emphasis on the Métis population. Among the services offered are family counselling, an infant development program, and activities for youth. The Society has offices in Kelowna and Vernon.
Fraser Valley Métis Association (FVMA)

FVMA is committed to building pride in Métis culture through education and community events. It also seeks to create economic opportunities and to advance Métis self-determination. Many members of the FVMA describe the organization as their extended family.
