The Interior Salish Employment and Training Society provides employment and training programs to Aboriginal communities in the region. The Society is especially focused on assisting youth and individuals who have experienced long-term unemployment.

CIPAHRD is based in Kamloops. Its goal is to increase the self-reliance of Aboriginal people within the Central Interior. To this end, CIPAHRD negotiates for and distributes financial resources related to Aboriginal human resource development.

Cariboo Chilcotin Aboriginal Training Employment Centre Society (CCATEC)

CCATEC serves First Nations communities in the Cariboo Chicoltin. It offers labour market programs, liaises with governments, and provides funding to First Nations organizations and individuals for job training.
Aboriginal Training Employment Centre (ATEC)

ATEC delivers culturally sensitive employment services to Aboriginal people in the Kamloops area. It helps clients identify and overcome barriers to employment, and find and maintain meaningful jobs that fit their abilities and interests.
Secwepemc Child and Family Services

The Secwepemc Child and Family Services Agency was incorporated in 1999. It is the product of an agreement between the Chiefs of the seven Bands of the Secwepemc Nation. The purpose of the Agency is to develop a full complement of child protection services.
Scw’exmx Child and Family Services
Scw’exmx Child and Family Services Society is a delegated agency for the Coldwater, Upper Nicola, Lower Nicola, Nooaitch, and Shackan Bands. It works collaboratively to help children and families in these communities achieve their full potential. The Society strives to do its work in a way that expresses ancestral beliefs, values and instructions.
Quesnel Women’s Resource Centre

The Quesnel Women’s Resource Centre is committed to providing information, resources, support and counselling for women to assist them with life choices. Our purpose is to work together to create a world that is free from violence, inequality, and oppression where all women have access to equal rights, universal child care, and the right to equal pay for work of equal value.
North Cariboo Aboriginal Family Program Society

Incorporated in 1998, the Society works to promote the well-being of Aboriginal children, youth, and families in the North Cariboo region. It also advocates for community development and capacity-building. The Society’s vision is Aboriginal families and communities working together to become healthy in mind, body, heart and spirit.
Nlha’7kapmx Child & Family Services Society (NCFSS)
NCFSS was established in 1994. It provides child protection and family support services to six Nlha’7kapmx bands in the Lytton area. The mission of NCFSS is to provide holistic services that reflect Nlha’7kapmx beliefs, values, and traditions.

Métis Commission for Children and Families of BC

The Commission was established in 1999 to advise governments with regard to services for Métis children and families in British Columbia. The provincial government has a legal obligation to notify the Commission when a Métis child becomes involved with the child welfare system. This ensures that the actions of child welfare authorities are informed by Métis values and practices.
